Kitten requires special attention and concern and you must be very careful while dealing with kittens. Kittens can’t manage themselves before an age of eight to ten weeks; so, you must not bring them before this period. Before this period, let them live with their mother, so that they can enjoy mother’s milk.

After bringing a kitten to your house you can feed it with nursing bottles and evaporated milk. You must train your family how to deal with it everyday. Kitten is not a plaything or a toy and they need special care. It should be supported from stomach while carrying it from one place to another.

Cow's milk is not suitable for small kittens and you must provide them evaporated milk. As your kitten can easily digest evaporated milk. Kittens must be feed four to six times a day with small amount of diluted evaporated milk and canned food before they approach an age of three months. You must feed it with canned food or dry food thrice a day up to nine months and twice a day after nine months. You must provide fresh water to your kitten throughout the day.

Bath your kittens when they are extremely dirty and that through mild shampoo. Dry its hairs in the sun; repeated bathing is harmful for its hairs. You can take a veterinary doctor’s service to clean their teeth and ears.

Kittens like cleanliness and try to remain tidy and clean. You must train your kittens how to use a litter box. Kittens at the early stage of their life learn easily, so you can train them very easily and comfortably.

A kitten is more prone to diseases, so you must be very careful regarding its health. It should be vaccinated when it is 8-12 weeks old and continue up to twelve months at an interval of four weeks. After twelve months annual booster will protect it from diseases.

Kittens may develop symptoms likewise spongy stomach, vomiting, ear mites and may stop eating food. All these symptoms indicate some diseases and you must consult a veterinary doctor regarding this. You must visit your veterinary doctor regularly so that you might understand kitten’s living habits and their problems.

You must be very sympathetic and kind towards your kittens. A continuous training will enable them to be sensible and decent kitten. Initially, they may bite you or scratch households, but later they start behaving like other family members.
